| Abstract | Over the years, the world has been experiencing environmental changes; Manufacturing Industry is reported to be one of the significant contributors to the change. Environmental Management System has been introduced to industries for many years to achieve environmental sustainability. This study presents the compliance level of Small-Medium Size manufacturing companies in the North district of Cebu City to their organizations' 5 stages of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS). The researchers used a survey questionnaire to collect the necessary information for the investigation. The findings of this study demonstrated that small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses in the North District of Cebu City that participated in the survey have a high level of compliance with ISO- 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS). This study will be a reference for other companies to re-evaluate and improve their Environmental Management Systems. |
