A similar study has been conducted using the process of Pyrolysis, by Lam, Su Shiung, et al., where he used a microwave as their pyrolysis oven with the input product of a baby diaper.
The study produced the possibility of a microwave pyrolysis oven to pyrolyze a bio-hazardous waste material and convert it into reusable raw materials, and the study did not divulge operational parameters necessary to the design of the equipment. In order to address these issues, this proposal will use the preliminary data provided by Lam et al., and do an experiment of the whole process. Different parameters will be used, including the temperature, time, and duration, to identify how it can be used for bio-hazardous waste and convert it into reusable raw materials. This paper aims to investigate and come up with a design for a pyrolysis oven that can be used for bio-hazardous waste disposal and determine different parameters, including the temperature, time, and duration, to come up with a quality of reusable raw materials.
